God's Story And My Life

Gods story should effect the way we live our lives from day to day. Jesus is the example of a perfect human. He was put on to this Earth to eventually redeem us of our sins. But that does not mean He did not face the struggles we deal with everyday. Jesus took on life as a full and complete human being. This means that we have an example to strive towards as we live our life. Jesus did not sin once, the whole time He lived on the planet. This should effect us greatly. Not only was Jesus sent down from God to save us from our sins, but He was also the example of how to live life here on Earth. This should have a great impact on how we choose to live our life.

The story of the Bible

In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God and the word was God. This speaks to the fact that everything that we read about in the Bible is fully Gods word. The Bible begins with the creation. God is the ultimate creator. He created everything on this Earth. He was also the creator of man. We were created to be in his own image, in other words, we were created to be like and live like Christ Jesus Himself. This did not exactly happen. While Adam and eve were in the garden, they were tempted by satan, who was in the form of a serpant. They succumbed to the temptation of the devil. This would prove to change the way that the human race will live forever. Now we are all born sinners and we are destined to go to hell. Although we are all destined to go to hell, God sent us a saving grace. This saving grace came in the form of his son Jesus Christ. He set His one and only son to take on human flesh, to live a perfect life, and to be crucified to redeem us from all of our sins. So although we fall short of the glory of God, we still have a chance to go to heaven and that is through Jesus Christ.

Creation

Genesis one and two tells the story of creation. Early in the story, Moses directs the attention towards God. In the beginning God created everything from the heavens to the earth. He is the ultimate creator and Moses does a good job of giving Him the credit that He deserves. He went on to bring Adam and Eve into the then, perfect world. Unfortunately, those two, the first two human people, went on to distort the perfection of this perfect world. Satan, a very sneaky serpent, deceived them into bringing sin into the world by simply eating an apple. So even though God creator a perfect world, we the human race ruined His creation. God created every single thing in the world and we are able to see His greatness through the things he created.
